The High Tech Hole in One project was a 10th grade wide collaboration between both teams. For the Colleen/Mariah team, we choose a court case that effected the Civil Rights Movement. During Humanities, we researched and learned about our cases. In Chemistry, we explored the makings of golf clubs and made our own models. For Math, we learned about angles to know how to make the best shot possible.
Loving vs Virginia
The High Tech Hole in one project: for the humanities part we researched a Court case with a group and math part we built a golf course that show obstacles according to the obstacles the victims went through. And for the chemistry side we made golf clubs using foundries and aluminum but that didn't work out so we used wooden dowels and used a hand saw for the putter head. The case that I did changed the interracial marriage law in 1967 and that is the Loving vs Virginia court case. Mildred Loving, a black woman and Richard Loving, a white man were arrested and sent to jail for disobeying the state's anti-miscegenation law. It was the Racial Integrity Act of 1964 which prohibited marriages between white people and colored people including people classified white/black.

In Chemistry, students watched a video on how to make putters out of aluminum using a foundry. The rest of the class made wooden putters. Materials: PlastiDip, Wooden dowel/thick, wooden board, Paint/Paint brushes, Sander tools, Wood glue
