The 99 second of change project was about, well making a video that is at least 99 seconds that can change someones perspective of a modern day issue. My Topic was the extinction of bees because me and my partner; Daniel Enriquez, thought it was important to tell the world about this issue since people don't really understand what bees do to help us.
Fact Sheet
This is the Fact sheet I made by searching bee issues and what would happen if bees were extinced, etc.
bee Letter
We wrote a letter to the topic we had, for example I wrote a letter to the EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) because They are the ones who are involved with the environment and they can do something about it. Sadly I did not get any response but its okay because I now there is more people worried about this modern day issue.
2-Column script
For the 2-Column script all we had to do was outline how the video and the audio was going to look like. The numbers on the audio side match the video side. The audio is to get an idea of what we were going to say and the video part is to get a picture to relate with what we are saying.
audacity
Audacity is a program on the PCs that helped us record for our video. My partner did the recording for this part and I edited the pictures on Photoshop.
Photoshop
Photoshop is the second program we used to edit our pictures to make them original. I was in charge of this job, at first I thought it was not going to be easy to edit about 40 pictures to make a 99 sec video, but then once I got help from my classmates or the teacher it went by fast. I think by now I know the basics of photoshop and I could teach people what I've learned.
Final cut x
After editing the pictures we used Final Cut X for our third program. Final Cut X worked pretty great for beginners like me because it was just so easy to use. I think this is the best program to use to make a quality video.
Youtube
Finally we uploaded it to Youtube! all we had to do for this part was get a title which ours is Beautiful Bees, add description, tags, and last but not least the thumbnail.
